影片摘要 The Luodong Forestry Culture Park was formerly the Luodong Timberland Complex. During the Mt. Taiping lumbering era, this is where logs were stored and then distributed. In the early days of Mr. Taiping as a logging area, logs were transported by being floated downstream on the Lanyang River. In 1924, the railway from Datong’s Tuchang Station to Luodong’s Jhulin Station started operation. The 36.4 kilometer railway transformed Luodong into a major city for the timber industry. Here you can almost walk into the past.　Old and new intersect, creating a new cultural space. The steam locomotive and railway tell the story of the Luodong timber industry. Whether an old steam locomotive, or the elegant retro train carriages, they are all memories of how life used to be in Luodong.
